My Life In Letters

Adam Fujita created this podcast in an attempt to document, through interview and story telling, the culture created by graffiti art. We hope to create a living, breathing record of the stories and experiences that have led legions to dedicate themselves tirelessly to this craft and art form. The deeply American art form that is commonly known as Graffiti. All episodes are Hosted Produced, Engineered and Mixed by Adam Fujita aka ATOMS. For more of his work see adamkfujita.com (Episodes 1-15 were engineered by Zack Dunn.)

Our first European interview live from Italy with the Dutch born Mr JUNE. We span the early days of his graffiti career in the mid 80's in his town just outside Amsterdam. Through his day studying. We will get back with June next season to cover the last 15 years. We hope you enjoy!

This full interview is one of our favorites. Not only does Mone break down the earliest days of his graff career but we also get to learn more about the Mount Vernon perspective as he was and is a suburb writer making himself known in NYC and beyond. Huge thanks to Mone for coming on and as promised on the ep we will follow up with him next season to do a part 2 episode.

See @rockinitsuckers instagram page to see more of his work or google MONE RIS and let the flood gates open on ya.

Speaking with MONE got us all sentimental fro the days of Krylon and Rusto, stock caps and no computers. In this teaser episode we remember what it was like to get your hands on a piece of media like Subway Art for the first time. That rush that you may or may not be able to get now a days in our Social Media culture.

We hope you enjoy this episode and in 2 weeks we will release Mone's full interview. Stay tuned.

While Mone isn't on social check out the @rockinitsuckers page to see more of his work.

This is a part 2 to Episode 16 from Season 1 of My Life In Letters. We were so blessed to get the Bay Area native and legend Spie back on the show. We learn so much whenever we get to speak with Spie. He is a natural teacher and student of life. We were particularly grateful to hear stories about Mike Dream and about their travels and his legacy. We hope you enjoy this episode and learn from it.

In this episode 5 of My Life In Letters we focus on some pf Spies ideas and thoughts on leadership. I dig into the themes that Spie provides around critical thinking and on being our bests selves.

In two weeks we will release Spies full interview.

See his Instagram to see more work @agentdecoy and as always you can reach out to me Adam @adamfu or through the MLIL page @mylifeinletterspodcast.

In this 4th episode of season 2 we deliver to you the entire interview that we recorded with GUSTO TFP 4B. He is a Queens native and has stories for day with guys like Faust, Stae2, DCV, Sen2 and so many more.

we got to hear some great tales of Mentorship on his initial episode and in this full interview we learn about Gusto's immigration story, how he "faked it" into a full time job at MTV as well as good old fashioned "racking" stories with his team.

We were so thankful that Gusto took the time to sit down with us.

In this episode we get to speak in detail with Gusto from Queens New York about his experiences with mentorship in the graffiti community and how that shaped him. It shaped him as an artist and writer but also as a designer working in corporate settings. I have researched extensively on mentorship and on what it is to have leaders in our community.

This is a fraction of the larger episode which will be released on Sunday March 11th.
